What Is PM International? Is It Legit Or A Scam Program? (2023)

Welcome to my article on what isPM International and is it legit.

One of the things we need to learn about is to find out if a company is a scam or not if we are wanting to make money with it.

We wouldn’t want to spend our money and time on a program that promises the ability to earn money with them and ends up scamming us out of all the time and money we invested into it.

We are going to try to avoid this from happening by checking out all the details about the company, the products, and the compensation plan.

We decided to take a closer look at the PM International opportunity because of some buzz that was going around some of the social spaces I visit from time to time.

With that said, let’s dig in and see what we can discover.

PM International – What Is It?

Pm International is an MLM company that resides in 2 industries that include:

• The Health and Wellness Niche
• The Cosmetics or Beauty Niche

The company offers an MLM opportunity that gives you the ability to make money by selling the products that the company provides and also by referring others and building a big team to earn commissions.

This is the basic overview of what the company is all about, let’s get into the company details.

Company Overview

The CEO of PM International is Rolf Sorg.

The company started back in 1993 when the name of the company was just called P.M. Cosmetics where the products they offered were limited to makeup and beauty.

I feel they changed the name due to the changing market and felt that bringing in an additional product line would make for more profit company-wide.

This is when they changed the name to PM International which now offers both the original cosmetics, but now nutritional supplements as well.

The company is based out of Luxembourg now and claims to be one of the biggest Direct Selling companies in Europe.

The company also states that they have over 150k active distributors worldwide.

Rolf Sorg story starts out as him being a car mechanic when he first got into MLM.

He joined a company where he was able to enroll at least 10 reps per month into his MLM company.

Once he got the itch or the realization of how powerful the MLM industry can be he went full-time to eventually become very successful.

The Internet does not offer much as far as documented history on Sorg, but at least he has a lot of experience in the MLM industry with success.

PM InternationalProducts

In this section of the article, we are going to cover information on the products that PM International offers.

Pm International carries 2 types of products that include the:

• FitLine
• BeautyLine

The FitLine products are an assortment of nutritional supplements and the BeautyLine includes a variety of personal care and cosmetic products.

FitLine

The FitLine offers a unique formulation that claims to have a delivery system used within each one that carries the nutrients to the specific cellular areas of your body that need them.

They call this transport process “Nutritional Transport Concept” or NTC for short.

Here is a breakdown of the FitLine products they offer with a short description:

• CC-Cel Lotion – This product helps with cellulite and moisture for your skin. The retail cost is $32 for a 125 ml tube.
• Activize Oxyplus – This product offers supplements to give you the energy that you need each day. The retail cost is $37 for a 174 g box.
• Power Cocktail – This product is a multivitamin that offers vitamin B2, C, E, and selenium. The retail cost is $104 for a 600 g box.
• ProShape All-in-1 – This product is a meal replacement supplement that comes in vanilla and chocolate flavor. The retail cost is $34 for a 420 g canister.
• Basics – This product contains fruits, vegetables, and cereals, fibers, live lactic bacteria, and enzymes as well as valuable Indian Ayurvedic herbal extracts for the digestive system. The retail cost is $69 for a 600 g box.
• ProShape Amino – This product helps those that work out or have an active lifestyle to help with muscle fatigue. The retail cost is $62 for a 115 g canister.
• CC-Cel Capsules – This product helps your skin. The retail cost is $64 for a bottle of 60 capsules.
• Restorate– This product is a multi-mineral vitamin that contains 10 highly nutritious minerals for better regeneration. The retail cost is $23 for a 200 g box.
• Q10 – This product is for cell energy. The retail cost is $47 for a 30 ml bottle.
• Heart Duo – This product gives you Omega 3. The retail cost is $74 for a 50 ml bottle.
• Omega 3 – This product is for heart health. The retail cost is $38 for a 50 ml bottle.
• Herbalism Tea – This product is a tea that contains herbs in a unique mixture. The retail cost is $15 for a 100 g box.
• D-Drink – This product is a daily supplement drink. The retail cost is $37 for a box of 14 single-serving packets.
• Fitness Drink – This product is a drink that offers a nutrient mix of magnesium and B-vitamins. The retail cost is $48 for a 450 g box of single-serving packets.

The company has talked about supplying some of the top athletes in the world with its products.

BeautyLine

The “BeautyLine” product line includes an assortment of anti-aging and skincare items.

The company claims that all the products used contain natural ingredients that are processed using gentle methods of manufacturing for maximum purity.

• Cleansing Tonic – This product is a product to help protect the skin from the harsh outside environment. This product has a retail cost of $28 for a 200 ml bottle.
• Ultimate Young – This product is a wrinkle reducer and toner for your skin. This product has a retail cost of $117 for a 15 ml bottle.
• Cleansing Milk – This product is a cleanser for your facial skin to help with makeup, grease, and dirt. This product has a retail cost of $28 for a 200 ml bottle.
• 4ever – This product is a 24-hour facial mask that you can leave to rejuvenate the skin on your face. This product has a retail cost of $66 for a 50 ml container.

PM International offers many “done-for-you” packages of products that go in line with popular consumer needs that also include singles to smaller, medium, and larger packs.

Our PM International Compensation Plan Breakdown

In this section of the article, we are going to take a close look at how the PM International compensation plan works and how you make money with it.

The way to make money with the PM International compensation plan is through selling products at retail cost and through referral commissions.

Getting Started

The first thing you are required to do is to join as an affiliate member, which will qualify you for those commissions.

This will require a purchase of the companies affiliate starter pack which will cost $99.

PM International Ranks (qualifications)

The way that drives all of the higher commissions that you can earn with the PM International opportunity is by qualifying for a higher rank in the company.

This will open you up to additional bonuses and higher percentages on certain commissions you can earn through the pay plan.

PM International offers 12 ranks in total that you can qualify for.

Here are the qualifications you need in order to reach the higher ranks in the company and earn more money:

• Team Partner Rank – Simply sign up as a PM International affiliate.
• Manager Rank – To qualify for this rank you need to generate 1500 GV per month
• Sales Manager Rank – To qualify for this rank you need to generate 2500 GV per month and you will also need to personally refer and maintain or replace 1 Manager ranked or higher affiliate member.
• Marketing Manager Rank – To qualify for this rank you need to generate 5000 GV per month and you will also need to personally refer and maintain or replace 2 Manager ranked or higher affiliate members.
• International Marketing Manager Rank – To qualify for this rank you need to generate 10,000 GV per month and you will also need to personally refer and maintain or replace 3 Manager ranked or higher affiliate members.
• Vice President Rank – To qualify for this rank you need to generate 25,000 GV per month and you will also need to personally refer and maintain or replace 3 Sales Manager ranked or higher affiliate members.
• Executive Vice President Rank – To qualify for this rank you need to generate 50,000 GV per month and you will also need to personally refer and maintain or replace at least 3 Marketing Manager ranked or higher affiliate members.
• President’s Team Rank – To qualify for this rank you need to generate 100,000 GV per month and you will also need to personally refer and maintain or replace at least 5 Marketing Manager ranked or higher affiliate members.
• Silver President’s Team Rank – To qualify for this rank you need to generate 200,000 GV per month and you will also need to personally refer and maintain or replace at least 3 Vice President ranked or higher affiliate members.
• Gold President’s Team Rank – To qualify for this rank you need to generate 400,000 GV per month and you will also need to personally refer and maintain or replace at least 3 Executive Vice President ranked or higher affiliate members.
• Platinum President’s Team Rank – To qualify for this rank you need to generate 600,000 GV per month and you will also need to personally refer and maintain or replace at least 4 Executive Vice President ranked or higher affiliate members.
• Champion’s League Rank – To qualify for this rank you need to generate 1,000,000 GV per month and you will also need to personally refer and maintain or replace at least 5 President’s Team ranked or higher affiliate members.

Just for reference, the term “GV” means “group volume” and means the total generated sales that were accumulated by you, your personally referred members, and all the team members that are in your downline.

Retail Commission Bonus

Just like all legitimate MLM companies, PM International offers retail commissions.

As an affiliate member, you will earn commissions when you sell the products for retail to customers.

The amount of money that you can make from retail sales are 3 different retail commission amounts you can earn which are:

• The retail cost minus the wholesale cost or…
• The retail cost minus that wholesale cost plus an extra 10% when you are on a 100 PV autoship monthly order.
• The retail cost minus that wholesale cost plus an extra 40% when you are a Manager ranked or higher affiliate member and on a 100 PV autoship monthly order.

Top Retailer Bonus Commissions

Group volume will determine whether or not you can earn this commission bonus.

When you can achieve 2500 in GV you will earn what the company called a “Top Trailer Bonus” which is 3% of all the retail sales that are earned on your team each month.

When you are able to achieve 5000 in GV, you will qualify to earn 5% from all the retail sales on your team.

Recruiting Commission Bonus (unilevel)

When you personally refer an affiliate member that purchases the Pool Pack of either the $481 package or the $500 package you will earn a $60 commission.

When you qualify as a Manager rank or higher, you will be qualified to earn $120 from the Pool Packs.

If you are not qualified as a Manager ranked member or higher and you sponsor someone on the Pool Packs you will earn the $60 and the remainder of $60 will roll up to the next qualified Manager ranked member above you.

As a ranked Manager ranked or higher, you can earn overrides from affiliate members that are not qualified as a Manager ranked member that sponsors someone that joins at the Pool Pack of $60.

Residual Commission Bonus (unilevel)

PM International offers residual commissions each month that is paid from the autoship orders from all your team members that are in your unilevel compensation plan structure.

For those that are not familiar with how the MLM unilevel compensation plan structure works, here is a quick breakdown:

• 1st Level – The first level of your unilevel compensation plan will only have your personally sponsored members on it that you can earn from.
• 2nd Level – The second level of your unilevel compensation plan will only have team members that your level 1 members personally sponsored on it.
• 3rd Level –The third level of your unilevel compensation plan will only have team members that your level 2 members personally sponsored on it.
• and so on…

Hopefully, for those that don’t have a good understanding of how the unilevel pay plan works, this quick explanation helps.

The unilevel pay plan pays you per generation or level that the company offers and what you can qualify for.

The way that PM International defines the “generations” that you can make money from is with Manager ranked members per unilevel “legs”.

Each personally sponsored member that you refer to the affiliate membership is considered one leg or a single generational leg.

The first Manager ranked member or higher found on one of your legs going down is considered your 1st generation and the second Manager ranked member or higher found on the same leg under the first one is considered your second generation.

When there is no Manager ranked members or higher found on any single generational level then you will get paid on the entire leg.

The company will pay commissions on a percentage of the sales volume that is generated in any single unilevel leg.

Here is a breakdown of what this looks like:

• Manager Rank – When you qualify for this rank and have personally referred 1 Manager ranked member you will get 5% on your first generation Managers and 3% on your 2nd and 3rd Managers in your unilevel downline legs.
• Manager Rank – When you qualify for this rank and personally sponsored at least 5 Manager ranked members you will get 5% on the first generation Managers, 3% on your 2nd to 4th Managers, 5% on the 5th and 6th, and 2% on every Manager generation thereafter on your unilevel legs.
• Sales Manager Ranked – When you qualify for this rank you will get 7% on your 1st generation, 5% on your 2nd to 4th, and 7% on the 5th and 6th, and 2% on every Manager generation thereafter on your unilevel downline legs.
• Marketing Manager Ranked – When you qualify for this rank you will get 10% on the 1st generation, 8% on the 2nd to 4th generation Managers, 10% on the 5th and 6th, and 5% on every Manager ranked generation member thereafter on your unilevel downline legs.
• International Marketing Manager Ranked – When you qualify for this rank you will get 14% on the 1st generation, 12% on the 2nd to 4th generations, 14% on the 5th and 6th, and 9% on every Manager ranked generation thereafter on your unilevel downline legs.
• Vice President Ranked – When you qualify for this rank you will get 17% on the 1st generation, 15.5% on the 2nd to 4th, 17.5% on the 5th and 6th, and 12.5% on every Manager ranked generation thereafter on your unilevel downline legs.
• Executive Vice President Ranked – When you qualify for this rank you will get 20.5% on the 1st generation, 18.5% on the 2nd to 4th generations, 20.5% on the 5th and 6th, and 15.5% on every Manager ranked generation thereafter on your unilevel downline legs.
• President’s Team Ranked – When you qualify for this rank you will get 23.5% on the 1st generation, 21.5% on the 2nd to 4th generations, 23.5% on the 5th and 6th, and 18.5% on every Manager ranked generation thereafter on your unilevel downline legs.
• Silver President’s Team Ranked – When you qualify for this rank you will get 24.5% on the 1st generation, 22.5% on the 2nd to 4th generations, 24.5% on the 5th and 6th, and 19.5% on every Manager ranked generation thereafter on your unilevel downline legs.
• Gold President’s Team Ranked – When you qualify for this rank you will get 25% on the 1st generation, 22% on the 2nd to 4th generations, 25% on the 5th and 6th, and 20% on every Manager ranked generation thereafter on your unilevel downline legs.
• Platinum President’s Team Ranked – When you qualify for this rank you will get 25.5% on the 1st generation, 23.5% on the 2nd to 4th generations, 25.5% on the 5th and 6th, and 20.5% on every Manager ranked generation thereafter on your unilevel downline legs.
• Champion’s League Ranked – When you qualify for this rank you will get 26% on the 1st generation, 24% on the 2nd to 4th generations, 26% on the 5th and 6th, and 21% on every Manager ranked generation thereafter on your unilevel downline legs.

Just as something to be pointed out is when there is a qualified higher-ranked affiliate and a lower-qualified ranked affiliate in one generational leg, a difference will be paid out between the 2.

This part of the compensation plan is really intense in the fact that it is HEAVILY dependent on what “your downline” members produce compared to your own personal production.

Rank Achievement Bonus (one-time)

The rank achievement bonus is a one-time commission that you will earn once you qualify for the rank of International Marketing Manager and higher.

Here is a breakdown of the one-time commissions that you can earn when you hit the ranks listed below:

• International Marketing Manager Rank – Qualify for this rank within 1 month of signing up to PM International as an affiliate member. ($500 commission)
• Vice President Rank – Qualify for this rank within 3 months of signing up to PM International as an affiliate member. ($1250 commission)
• Executive Vice President Rank – Qualify for this rank within 6 months of signing up to PM International as an affiliate member. ($2500 commission)
• President’s Team Rank – Qualify for this rank within 12 months of signing up to PM International as an affiliate member. ($5000 commission)

Car Bonus Commissions (monthly)

The car bonus is are additional commissions that you can earn monthly when you qualify for the Vice President rank and higher.

These commissions are only awarded to those ranks as long as you stay qualified for each rank listed below.

Here is a breakdown of the monthly car bonus commissions that you can earn on top of any other commissions you earn with the compensation plan at the ranks below:

• Vice President Rank – Stay qualified for this rank and earn $222 per month.
• Executive Vice President Rank – Stay qualified for this rank and earn $333 per month.
• Executive Vice President Rank – Stay qualified for this rank PLUS generate 75,000 GV per month or more and earn $444 per month.
• President’s Team Rank – Stay qualified for this rank PLUS generate 150,000 GV per month or more and earn $555 per month.
• Silver President’s Team Rank – Stay qualified for this rank PLUS generate 300,000 GV per month and earn $1111 per month.
• Platinum President’s Team Rank – Stay qualified for this rank PLUS generate 800,000 GV or more and earn $2222 per month.
• Champion’s League Rank – Stay qualified for this rank PLUS generate 800,000 GV or more and earn $2222 per month.

Pension Plan

PM International does mention details about an added bonus that they call the “Pension Plan”.

The company has mentioned that these commissions are for the leaders or “top-ranked affiliates” of the company and partnered up with one of the largest insurers worldwide.

The company claims that they will contribute up to 50% to your pension wallet.

We are not really sure how this works because there is no real specific data on how this works.

US & World Tours (rewards)

This reward is given to International Marketing Manager Ranked affiliate members and higher.

This is an all-expense-paid trip inside the USA for the “world tour” that PM International offers.

Presidents Team Recognition (rewards)

This reward is a personal invitation from Rolf and Vicki Sorg that includes a first-class weekend invitation to come and visit them in their private villa in St. Tropez, France.

You will qualify for this trip once you reach that tank of the President’s Team.

PM International Q and A Section

In this section of the article, we are going to answer some of the questions that people may have when thinking about joining the PM-International opportunity.

Is PM International Accredited With The BBB?

Pm International is listed on the Better Business Bureau but does not have accreditation with them as of right now.

However, here is some of the information I was able to find from the BBB:

• The company has an A+ rating (not accredited)
• They’ve been in business since 1993
• They were founded in Germany
• The company has 0 reviews and 0 complaints on the BBB

What’s The Cost To Join PM International?

To join as an affiliate member of PM International will cost $99 that will include a “Demo Starter Pack”.

The starter pack will include items like a sports bottle, demo bag, spoon, and 2 of the top-selling PM products that the company wants you to use for demonstration purposes.

You will also have the option to purchase additional products including purchasing a Pool Pack which is the ideal purchase that PM International wants you to make.

The Pool Packs will include additional products and include 2 to choose from:

• Optimal Combo Pack for $481
• 6 FitLine Optimal Set Pack for $500

Is PM International a Scam or Legit Opportunity?

In my opinion, no, PM International is not a scam.

The MLM company has everything they need to be in compliance that includes a good track record.

Some of the things on why I do not consider PM International to be a scam is because they offer:

• Retail products
• A fair compensation plan
• Good leadership and management

Overall, the company is a good opportunity that you can earn money from home for many years.

My Final PM International Thoughts

In the final section of this article, I am going to share my thoughts about the PM International opportunity as a whole.

We have taken the time to check out all the information on the company and owner, the products, the compensation plan, and how you make money with it.

We have also given our opinion on why we feel PM International is not a scam and why.

By now, you have enough information to make an educated decision on whether or not this opportunity is right for you.

What are your thoughts so far?

But here is the question…

Do we recommend that PM International opportunity?

Yes, we do recommend the PM International MLM company to be a company that you can join as an affiliate member to make money long-term.

However, there are parts to this compensation plan that I personally do not like, for instance, the residual income section where the majority of the commissions that you can earn will depend on what your team members are able to produce.

So, what if I refer a bunch of people that are working for the company as a hobby and not really producing much?

This would mean that I would not earn residual income even though I might be producing a ton of sign-ups.

This is a very traditional Network Marketing aspect that this company is applying to their compensation plan that I think is REALLY outdated in my opinion.

This is one of the big negatives I have about the PM International compensation plan but for you, it might be something that you are ok with.
